COVID-19 Update on meowfest 2020
Dear meowfest community,
We are writing to you today to provide you an update regarding meowfest 2020 and the current COVID-19 situation. As of April 18th, 2020, our British Columbia health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that physical distancing measures will continue to be in place during the summer months to limit the spread of COVID-19. Dr. Bonnie Henry also mentioned that we will have lots of other opportunities in the summer to share more social interaction, but we need to find a sweet spot.
As you know, we postponed the release of our General Admission tickets to this Saturday, April 25th, 2020. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to further postpone the release of ticket sales until we know more about how meowfest 2020 will be affected.
Our team is working hard to determine the best option for meowfest 2020 and we will provide an update as soon as possible. If any changes are required, we will issue full refunds to all ticket holders, vendors, and sponsors upon request.
We will continue to monitor this very fluid situation, and we are committed to sharing any updates as they arise. We would like to thank our meowfest community for your ongoing support during this time.
In the meantime, we would like to bring a little pawsitivity to your day with our inaugural edition of Wholesome Mews.
Sincerely,
Justine Cheng
