meowfest 2019’s Official (Fe)line-Up
The time has finally come to spill the kibble. The official (fe)line-up for meowfest 2019 in Toronto has been finalized, and we can't wait to share.
In addition to some of the talents we hosted at last year’s event, meowfest 2019 will also feature some new faces. From humane educators to celebrity cats, visitors can expect a day jam-packed with entertainment and inspiration.
So, without further ado…
Kitten Lady
From founding the nonprofit Orphan Kitten Club, to educating aspiring kitten rescuers around North America, to saving dozens of vulnerable feline lives on a regular basis, there’s really nothing Hannah Shaw can’t do. She’s back for another year at meowfest, sharing her expertise with the cat-loving community.
The Cat Photographer
Andrew Marttila, also known as @thecatphotographer, has published two beautiful books, Cats on Catnip and Shop Cats of New York. When he isn’t taking captivating photographs of kitties, he is contributing to the nonprofit Orphan Kitten Club and fostering a revolving door of kittens with his partner.
Nala Cat
With almost four million Instagram followers and even a blockbuster cameo, Nala was named one of the world’s top influencers by Forbes in 2017. A former shelter kitty herself, she now uses her celebrity status to spread awareness about the #AdoptDontShop movement. With some big plans in the works, she's on the fast track to reigning the cat world, so don't miss a chance to snag her pawtograph!
iAmMoshow the Cat Rapper
You’ve probably seen iAmMoshow’s viral cat raps, featuring his kitties Black $avage, Sushi, Tali, Mega Mam, and Ravioli. Through his music, he’s on a mission to inspire fans to pursue their dreams. Using the weekly hashtag #BeautifulCatLadyWednesdays, he also aims to help eliminate the stigma surrounding women who love cats.
Dark Lord
With his menacing air and and sexy knees, the Dark Lord has amassed a loyal following of thousands. He’ll be visiting meowfest from Los Angeles to capture the souls (and hearts) of his faithful servants in the North.
The Amazing Klaus
Klaus returns for our second year to raise awareness about special needs pets, continuing the inspiring legacy of his best pal and comic book costar, the late Oskar.
Pudge
She’s an Instagram diva, DIY meowgul and somehow more photogenic than most humans we know. Pudge and her sassy moustache are back for another year of meowfest, along with her mom, Cady Lone of @catsofinstagram.
